Birthday lovelies!

For the auspicious (don't you just love that word?) birthday occasion, I made Harris a homemade Reese cup cheesecake and butterfinger cookies (seriously the easiest homemade cookies I have ever made!). Fret not, recipes are forthcoming because, believe me, you absolutely want to make these sweet treats! Since he was scheduled to work every night all weekend, we started celebrating early, shared a little time together yesterday, grabbed a quick bite at our local sushi/Japanese joint last night, and are having dinner with a couple friends tomorrow night. He got a couple small gifts from me, and will be getting his main birthday present sometime next month (more to come!). All in all, a great day celebrating the birth of the man I love!
