Dear Baby,
This week has been a fun one! Your Aunt Kay and Katy have been in town hanging out with us, and they have been super helpful in helping Mommy haul some stuff out of what is (very) slowly becoming your nursery.
The end of the first trimester is still being pretty magical, and I cannot believe we will be in the second trimester next week! Nausea is gone, I have a bit more energy, and the food aversions are slowly fading away. I have been able to stomach chicken in forms other than a fried chicken tender, and have been enjoying green smoothies a lot, so yay for that! My belly has definitely popped out this week. I catch myself resting my hand on it way more frequently, and it actually feels like what I imagined a bump to feel like more so than, you know, just random belly bloat! It's pretty fun!
You are the size of a peach this week, and I continue to be amazed by how much you grow and develop each week. We have our next doctor's appointment next week, so I am excited to see what that will bring. For exercise, we have consistently been doing yoga (both a prenatal class, as well as some online prenatal videos), as well the Tracy Anderson Pregnancy Project, which is pretty awesome. Food aversions definitely still outweigh cravings (aside from a few very random ones), but these days I am really liking: pancakes, bacon, cheese, cantaloupe, bananas, and yogurt!
We love you little one!
Love,
Mommy
